Tips & Tricks for all types of hair
Hey everyone! This is my last post, thank you for reading my project and contributing. I hope this blog helped you gain knowledge!
Now hear some tips and tricks for your own hair!
Type 1 hair doesn't need flat irons nor blow dryers as its more fine hair and it would damage the hair more. To help with drying to make the hair look perfect it would need a lightweight serum which would help make the hair look thick, take away frizz and prevent the hair from looking oily. It's better to make a routine because even if type 1 looks easy to take care of it isn't easy at all.
Type 2 hair requires a very specific hair routine to help maintain its health and appearance, to help with the volume of the hair it is good to use volumizing shampoos and conditioners while washing and also after a light weight curl cream to help define the waves. Also to remove build up it is good to clean the scalp and it keep it moisturized between wash days. This hair can also be weighed down very easily by products so it would be good to choose light weight and volumizing hair products that makes the waves voluminous and better.
Type 3 hair also requires a very specific hair routine and as someone with type 3 hair. It takes a lot of hydration, but it also is important to be careful with giving it too much protein. Type 3 hair is dense and very easy damage in which it should never be brushed or combed dry, and the hair is very frizzy so there would be a need of styling methods and gel to prevent less frizz with lots of moisture to leave no gaps without moisture which also applies to definition of curls. It is also recommended to style this hair before it even dries but to keep styling it while its wet then to dry use a diffuser or a microfiber towel which is better than anything else for 3a hair. This type takes lots of time to do but once you get the hang of it, it becomes easier. IMPORTANT: YOU MUST ALWAYS WEAR A SATIN OR SILK BONNET TO SLEEP TO PROTECT YOUR CURLS!
I don't really know how type 4 hair is taken care of, but I decided to research and figured out that this type has a problem of retaining moisture and to create definitions. To comb this hair it is better to have it moisturized first and detangle it with a conditioner inside. Also it is mostly recommended to avoid heat styling, and deep condition frequently while also protective styling. A method that this hair also can use to retain moisture would be the LOC method which is:
L - Leave in conditioner
O - Oil
C - Cream
Using this method is to retain moisture as the leave in conditioner will be added into the water and the oil seals in the products with then a cream to lock in all the moisture
